The instructions I am given

I am always being given fantastic advice and instructions from the divine. These are sometimes in the nature of dreams, impulses, intuition (for want of a better word), dreams, repeated signs, songs, so-called "coincidences" and a range of other things.

I would LOVE to tell you I always listen to and follow those instructions and advice *sheepish grin* but I don't make a habit out of lying, even on seemingly little things!

Needless to say, those times when I haven't listened, I soon discover why it would have been to my advantage to do so... *Wry grin*

The ones I really want to focus on tonight is the information I am constantly getting from my body. The simple version is, that every part of me, every fibre, tissue, cell, molecule, understands the connection to the divine that we all have. It KNOWS the contract, knows what's best for me, and the choices that would equal perfect and divine health. It is my connection to both the earth, and the divine all in one.

Last Thursday, I had to have some surgery (don't worry, sparing you the details) and as circumstances were at the time, I had to go on my own, staying overnight in a hotel as the hospital is a three hour drive each way from where I live. When I arrived, I found I had been given little to no information, was being condescended to and treated as the body part being dealt with rather than as a human being. That there was limited compassion and a WHOLE lot of judgement. As the day progressed (It had started at 4am when I had hit the road to get to the place) I became increasingly more distressed. I called on the whole team to be there, Raphael in particular. I was OK, but certainly not fantastic.

As I sat waiting in the common waiting area, dressed in my ultra attractive surgical gown I began to have second thoughts about the whole deal. Raphael calmly informed me that "chickening out" was not really an option (damn!) I was moved to the pre-op area to wait for someone to come and give me the initial bout of chemicals and there was a picture on the wall of a path leading through a forest. As I sat there, I imagined walking through the forest with Raphael having a chat about the procedure and the after procedure care and all of the things I was frightened about.

At one point, I asked about all of the pain and the anti-biotic and other drugs I had been told I MUST take and the like. I live a reasonably natural existence, using herbs to treat most things, and was reluctant to take any chemical drugs, although I was certainly not going to refuse western treatment or any thing like that.

Raphael challenged me to heal myself!

As I went into the surgery, all I could think about was how I could heal myself????????

After the operation, as I was lying on the bed in my hotel room, it suddenly "came to me" that I could just ask my body to heal itself. "What a strange idea" I thought to myself, but as I thought that (with my brain) my heart said, "Go on, can't hurt any worse than you do right now can it?" So, I set myself to the task of imagining a discussion with every cell in my body *laugh* This may have been made easier with the after effects of a general anaesthetic. I gave every cell the instruction that energy was to be converted to the place of surgery; that it was ALL hands on deck and the wound needed to be pain free and healing and ready for the three hour car trip home the next day. I also issued orders that I was to be fit for work on the following Monday. I went to sleep smiling to myself and laughing at what a "silly goose" I was.

I have been virtually pain free since the surgery, I have not taken the anti-biotic chemicals, instead using calendular and ginger (naturally occurring anti-biotic) because that's what my body said would be OK. No infection, and...a week later, other than some bruising, absolutely no evidence that I had the surgery at all.

Knock me over with a feather! That ACTUALLY worked *laugh*

I am of course, not suggesting that anyone ignore medical advice, or not seek treatment of they need to. After all, Raphael suggested the visit which led to the need for surgery being discovered. (Just as an aside, I also asked him to take care of finding me a really good specialist too *smile*) What I am saying is, that within each of us, is a most amazing and powerful tool; an unbelievably strong connection to the divine. Every cell in your body is attuned and waiting for your permission.

Give yourself permission to be powerful and hear the instructions you are given! Honour the voice inside of you that tells you what course to take...it's the divine, you can trust it.

There's power in a dream

I am constantly getting messages from my divine team (as are we all) through little impulses and urges, through snatches of conversation, through images, pictures, songs, books and all manner of things. Something occurring once may be a coincidence...when a sign, image, phrase, theme is repeated over and over again in our daily lives, and speaks to us with love and positivity...it's no coincidence...it is a sign from the team.

One of the most powerful ways that I am inspired, receive messages and generally can be shown the many possibilities are through dreams.

I give myself time to daydream, to let my imagination run wild and free, to imagine, to dream, to wonder....

Through these dreams, I encounter many a solution, sometimes for difficulties I did not even know would arise. For this reason, I write down what I see and hear through these dreams. After all, I never know when the information I have seen will be of use to me on my path.

Through dreams I have the ability to observe my thoughts and processes, and in not seeking to control where they take me, I am led to the most amazing things.

Through our dreams we magically connect to the divine.

The little voice inside of you

You know that little voice inside of you that whispers guidance  or sometimes even tells you what is about to happen....and then it DOES happen? You know the voice I mean? The one that says turn left here, even though you had no intention of turning that way, and then you do and everything is perfect because it was the exact short cut you needed to be on time.

You know that voice?

That voice is your soul, your team, the divine that is within you...you can trust it.

Call it intuition, call it signs and messages from your divine team, call it universal energy, call it whatever you will, the fact of the matter is all of us have this voice inside of us, guiding, directing, supporting and assisting.

There is another voice too though...the one that says, "That'll never work," and "tell her she's dreaming," and other things like that. Do you know that voice? That is our brain and ego trying to impose itself upon our conscious mind in order to keep us in a safe place comfort zone, to prevent us taking risks, increasing fear, and basically being negative.

Out of the two, I know which voice I'm choosing to listen to...

Acknowledge that you have all you need

We are, each of us, born with all the knowledge we need in order to be our perfect divine selves, and to live our perfect divine life.

It is a sad shame sometimes, that along the path of living this human life, that we sometimes forget what we know, and sometimes we bury it so deep that we feel lost and confused.

This is why instead of saying, "I learnt" something, I say that I "remembered" it.

All that is required to tap into this store of remembered information is to learn to listen to the messages our body and soul send us. To follow the little impulses and instincts that each of us feel every day within every situation. Sometimes, I have been so good at burying or ignoring these messages, that it will take an event for me to remember to listen again.

It is so easy to let the business and noisiness of life get in the way; to establish routines of safety and to not operate outside them. Our brain is, of course, also adding to the confusion and attempting to add fear, guilt, shame and hatred to blur the message as well....no wonder I feel a little lost sometimes *wry smile*

All that we need in order to live the perfect and joy filled life that is our birthright, is to remember to listen...or, as the case may be, relearn how to listen...all that we need is encoded within us, all the knowledge, wisdom, experience and courage...we just have to remember.

Downloads

I have these moments sometimes, moments when I just seem to know exactly what is going to transpire, the exact right thing to say or do, the correct direction to take and all of the consequences that go with all of the possible options. I call these moments downloads ever since a beautiful friend of mine first mentioned the term. It really seemed to fit the circumstances. One moment I'm standing there (or whatever *smile*) and the next moment I am in the middle of actions or words I didn't even know were there or didn't know were needed.

These moments are the moments in time when I feel the closest to my divine team; so close that they are almost a tangible presence by my side. When I was just a bit younger, I was always at a loss to explain what was going on and some times, as a result, I did not act on the information I had because I didn't know or acknowledge where the information came from. I also faced a great deal of frustration at times because I KNEW exactly what would work or the right information, residing in a child's body and knowing answers you had no "tangible" way of knowing comes with some downfalls when you are trying to tell the adults around you what they need to know to "fix" the problem *laugh* I am sure you can imagine.

I am sure there have been moments in time where you have felt a similar experience. Sometimes we call it precognition, prescience, clairvoyance (really don't like that word), psychic....whatever... the important thing is not the name we give these moments, but allowing ourselves to trust this information as having a divine source.

These are the moments in time where everything is working perfectly, and like all skills, once practised, it gets easier and easier. Being able to listen to intuitive sparks and trust that the information you are receiving is genuine and guidance is a beautiful moment that helps the journey become smoother.

The benefits of stillness and silence

I am often so busy that when I get time to myself, I don't really know what to do with it...a million and one projects, incomplete tasks, "obligations" and many other things instantly pop into my brain and then I attempt to choose between them since alone time is usually limited. The "task" I get the most benefit from and try to have/do most often, is to sit in silence with myself, in the stillness of my garden.

Initially, when there is silence, my brain tries to fill the space and goes in all different directions at once. I let my brain wander through things for a bit since this is a good way of determining the specific things I need to let go of, however, after a few minutes, I ask my brain to be still and open the floor to my heart. *smile* I know the difference now between my head and my heart when I hear them through one important aspect. My brain usually takes me to negative, uncomfortable, embarrassing or hurtful places; rehashing things I would rather let go of, inducing me to feel all over again the way the moment had me feeling when it happened. My heart, on the other hand, takes me to joy, love, bright and shinning future images, creativity and positivity.

This is one of my primary connections with my divine team, where I get answers, where I have the opportunity to ask the questions, and to immerse myself in the loving comfort of the divine.

When you're so engaged in the business of your life, you can forget sometimes the amazing benefits of silence and stillness in nourishing your soul and reconnecting you with the divine.

So, what's next?

When you ask the question, "What do I do next in trying to achieve or follow my life's purpose?" You will ALWAYS receive and answer. The oft times frustrating part of that is that you get each step one at a time. For someone of my "somewhat" controlling nature and personality, this can really drive me NUTS! *laugh*  Never the less, by following that inner guidance, gently nudging me one way or another, using my intuition and heart rather than believing anything my head tells me, I always find myself further along the path than I started and feeling mighty pleased by how easy it was to get here.

As each step is completed, another appears at my feet. I step onto each one with complete faith and confidence that, when I reach my foot out for the next one, it will be there.

The best thing about that is that when I first began my journey of actually LISTENING and following the guidance of the divine and my heart, I wanted desperately to have a safety net. I would cling desperately to one step until I KNEW for sure there was something to step on to. Occasionally I would go back a step just to feel more comfortable, or I would attach a "life line" and take only half a step. Each time I moved forward though, and found there was always a next step, I grew in confidence; I knew I was not just "making this stuff up" and now? Well now I take a running leap, spread my arms wide and hurl myself off the edge singing the whole time *smile*

This is not to say I always get the direction right, however, the other really important part of this process that I have learnt (and usually the hard way) is that if/when I get it wrong, I get wrapped up in gentle, loving wings and lowered to the ground.

You will definitely know if the messages you are getting are from the divine because they are always positive, uplifting and repetitive in nature (got to love angel pester power *laugh*)

Synchronisity

I am often in wonder of all the amazing synchronisities there are when I actually started listening to my divine team *huge smile* This is one of the primary signs or messages I receive from my team.

Basically, there are no such things as coincidences, especially when those "coincidences" seem to happen repeatedly over a period of time.

Usually, something like this begins with an impulse or a feeling. For example, I might "feel" like there is some times I need to complete for the day, when I wake up, I feel a sense of urgency or a spot that seems to need filling. Initially, I may ignore this impulse or half remembered dream. Later, I get in the car and the first line I hear may be a song about writing, creativity and following your heart. This may give me a little jolt, but I have been known to just ignore these ones too *wry grin* As I get to work, I check my emails and one of the spam emails is about a short story writing competition (this may not seem strange except they usually target teachers for these things, I'm teach Math, Art and Science as subjects, not English). I move along with my day, and overhear a snatch of conversation about storytellers. I pick up my little one from childcare, and the carer tells me all about how my little one is such a great storyteller, and refers to the fact that I write stories. Something is definitely pushing at the boundary between conscious and subconscious now *smile* We turn on sesame Street when we get home and what do you know, there's a talking book! I jump on face book and there are several statuses about writing and creativity and seeking the signs from the divine...throwing my hands in the air, I say, "OK, OK, I get it" Sitting down to the computer, an entire story flows from my finger tips, a blog post I don't even recall writing, or know I've done until I hit publish, and a few emails typed and sent!

Synchronisity!

When you are following your true life purpose, the entire universe will align to make everything happen. All you have to do is listen

When things go wrong

I was thinking yesterday about what happens when things go wrong, meaning not in the way we may have planned or intended. It is really easy to say to someone who is having this difficulty, "But there is a lesson for you to learn, or perhaps this is the way it was meant to be," However, if you are the person who is facing the difficult road and experiencing the discomforts, none of these sayings actually provide much comfort or help out in the situation.

For instance, yesterday I flew with my 4 year old from North Queensland where we live, to visit my oldest son in Brisbane. We woke at 6am in order to get to the airport 2 hours drive away, the required hour before departure time at 11am. We arrived at the airport just after 10am and settled in with a snack box and a few stories to wait out the hour. Just for a bit of background information, the four year old has been counting down the days till he sees his big brother for about a month; he was terribly excited and therefore was having some difficulty being patient and sitting still. "It's only an hour to wait, then an hour and a half flight, we'll be fine" I was thinking to myself.
We board the aircraft, all is well. We seemed to be waiting a really long time to taxi onto the runway. This is a really small airport with only two flights a day, so I knew we weren't waiting our turn at the runway. The pilot comes over the intercom and informs us there is a slight technical difficulty and they were waiting on the civil aviation authority to give them clearance to fly. next thing we all know, we are being disembarked with apologies and the hope the problem would be rectified soon. OK, so now we were facing a four hour delay with a tired and excited four year old...still manageable, can still find ways to make this work without us both going a bit crazy. i offered up a silent thank you to my team for helping the crew see the problem before we were air born (could have been a far worse scenario) and settled in to wait. As the time dragged on and there seemed to be no solution forth coming, the little on being more and more affected by the stress energy of all of the people around us and therefore being aggressive, and loud and rude, I began to feel a little of the stress myself.

I told myself that there was a message in this and all of those other things, but as you can imagine, it was not helping at the time. I had choices naturally. I could just jump on the blame band waggon with the other 100 or so passengers, this would have been easiest. However, I chose to offer up a silent wish for a resolution to the situation. I asked that everyone involved was kept calm, that there was a solution on the way that would keep everyone happy, that there was a way in which the four year old could be prevented from going supernova as I had run out of distraction and entertainment ideas (In my defence, it ended up being a 6 hour delay).

So what happened? I felt immediately calmer and felt the effects of everyone else's stress wash off me. A little girl came over and asked to play and read stories to my little one, thereby keeping them both distracted. The mother of this other child an I made eye contact and sighed in unison, knowing our babies were still safe under our watchful eyes, but happy in each others company, and to top it all off, we were able to board and be on our way not long after.

The lesson? Who knows *laugh* the reason? I don't need to know *smile* We stayed, we were calm, we were safe, the solution came to hand and now...we move on.

Thanks team for helping out, glad I could do whatever job it was I needed to do.

Feeling rather than thinking

Lately, as I have written these posts, I have "had " to wait until quite late at night in order to "find the time" to do it undisturbed. I was thinking about this tonight as I sat down after having a conversation with a light worker friend of mine about how "tired" we were feeling from all of the "work" we had been doing. We were both having a few problems in processing language, tired enough to slur words, to have to ask for a lot of things to be repeated or stated in a different way in order to understand them. Yet, as I sit down to type this post, and it is later again, it seems I have absolutely no trouble what-so-ever in using language!?! Strange????

Not really.

When we are fully "switched on" so to speak, there is always the chance of our human nature interpreting and placing different meaning on the conversations that we have with our divine team. A rested brain will easily dismiss something as coincidence if you're not on the look out for it, or even tell you that you're imagining the whole thing. The "tired" brain, especially mine I have found *laugh* does not go to any effort to sabotage me. So, when I am writing these posts, I operate solely on feeling. I am most certainly not thinking about my use of language or writing excellent prose (I'll wait for a minute for the gasp of surprise*smile), all I am doing is writing whatever comes in to my head in the moment I sit down, acting as it were, as a conduit of information.

I find now that when I try too hard, it is actually my human brain at work rather than me listening to the messages of my divine team. If I am well rested (a state I most definitely prefer by the way) and I want to have a conversation with my team, I go into my garden and potter around for a bit, pulling a weed here, checking for ripe fruit there, just sitting and looking mostly. I go off into what I like to call "pixie land", babies do it a lot, staring at nothing with glazed over eyes...it's a bit like that. In this way, human nature and human thinking brain switches off; divinely inspired, feeling brain switches on and the conversation begins!

If you are finding that the messages and signs you seem to be getting are a little contradictory or not quite in sync, perhaps your human brain is interfering a little and trying to "think" your way through rather than feel and use your intuition. Sit and stare at some flowers for a bit *laugh* or find some other way to switch off that thinking brain, you may find this will help.

Take a chance

Occupy Your Heart: Facebook page
Have you ever heard a little voice in your head telling you to, "Stop being a silly dreamer"? Has anyone in your life said something similar to you; maybe told you to "be realistic" or to "get real"? Anyone ever told you that you need to stop dreaming and get on with living in the real world? That your dreams are impossible or too far fetched? Well, then this post is dedicated to you!

There are many people in this world who have unfortunately taken upon the message that "life is not fair" you "have to work hard to get anywhere" and that it is better to dream small dreams and have success than to dream ENORMOUSLY and fail spectacularly.

This post is for you guys too.

I really love the saying, "If your dreams don't scare you, you are not dreaming big enough."

There are absolutely NO limits, criteria or restrictions on the world of possibility. If there's one thing I know with all of my heart it is that while I may take risks and chance a failure, the rewards and the successes are worth it.

Taking a chance in order to follow your heart and make your dreams manifest into reality is actually not a big risk anyway. When you commit your whole heart to a love-driven dream, the entire universe will align to assist you in getting there. Your whole divine team will jump up and down for joy and sing a song of joy and praise. You will be scared, but it is not a limiting fear, it is the pure adrenaline that precipitates great action and amazing energy and results.

After all, what have you really got to loose?

Follow your heart, ignore what "reality" your pride and experience tells you and listen to the whisperings of your heart and your divine team.

The inspiring divine

I am delighted all of the time at the amazing synchronicity that happens when just a moment, a fleeting glimpse, a snatch of conversation or a part of a song can send me immediately into a task I had no idea that I had even thought about before or intended on starting!

In times past, the muse was the angel or divine being who would sit on the shoulder of a creator and give them inspiration to start or finish their latest project.

I love that the entire universe is one huge, magnificent and wonderful muse!

All we have to do to tap into the enormous font of creative and inspiring energy is to open our eyes, hearts and minds to really look. So easy.

All around us every day in a multitude of different ways, we are being offered inspiration and creative impulses that help us to feel good, make decisions, take the right path, see a window opening or realise one has closed for a reason.

It is simple to identify these "magical" and inspiring signs and differentiate them from just coincidence...lean in close and I'll whisper the secret *giggle*...

If you think and feel with your heart that you are being given guidance and inspiring signs by your divine team....you are!

The importance of and the gift of listening

We have all had moments when all we really need is someone to truly listen and care about what we have experienced, what we're thinking and feeling and how our day panned out. We have also, I am sure had moments where the person we're talking to is not truly listening or giving us their 100% attention, just merely waiting for their turn to speak.

It is an amazing gift that you can give someone, to devote your entire focus on actually listening to and processing what they are telling you, without comment or judgement if the case calls for it. Such a simple thing to do, but an amazing gift.

Yet, for the majority, listening is a skill that remains unperfected.

The ability to REALLY listen is actually a healing gift and one that benefits you as well as the person you are listening to. Every day, in every moment and for every decision we have to make, we have an entire team ready to help us. If you ask a question or ask for help, make sure you are REALLY listening, not just waiting for your turn to speak.

In so many ways, our team can "intervene" to give us information. I was reminded today by a light worker friend of mine that snatches of conversation, a song on the radio when you turn it on, opening a book to a random page and reading what's there, the appearance of a stray at your door step, a strange dream, an unusual encounter, the sudden appearance of someone you haven't seen in a long time, flowers blossoming where you hadn't noticed them before...ALL of these things add up to prompt you in the right direction.

Are you listening?

Most of the time our amazing brain will catalogue these things and lead us to what seems to be an impulsive decision or a "gut feeling" which we then choose to act on or not. However, just for a moment, imagine the confidence, calm and guidance you can have when you consciously listen, and look for these signs?

Light bulb moments

Each one of these blog posts represents a light bulb moment for me, and my hope is, that in some way, they may have sparked a light bulb moment in you. These are the moments where the learning is solidified, the memory recalled and the lesson is firmly entrenched in our conscious brain. I have wondered at times where these moments come from?

I mean, I know that there are specific influences such as reading a book, hearing some one talk and those type of things, but I also think that it is no coincidence or an accident that brings us to the moment in time, to hear/read the words that spark the memory, that in turn precipitate our receptiveness to the lesson or learning! That all seems like such a mouthful *smile*

These light bulb moments are actually a form of assistance from our divine team!

When you have a light bulb moment, take a second or two to say thank you to your divine team.

The full moon

Before I ever knew what was happening or the processes I was going through on my journey, I was fascinated by the phases of the moon; in particular, the full moon. It seemed to me that my body was intrinsically in sync with the moon phases. I have more energy at particular times, and less at others, and eventually, as I began to take note of these differences, I saw there was a pattern to my energy levels and the moon phases. I believe this is the same for us all, even though the patterns may be different.

Scientifically speaking, there is a huge mass stuck in the gravitational force of our planet; the moon's mass and the earth's mass effect each other with their respective push and pull of gravity...so, how could we avoid being affected by this?

The moon is also a symbol, and from earliest times, a sign of the fact that there are divine beings looking down on us. While these legends are different for different cultures, and vary in importance from place to place and people to people, it is evident that the moon has played a major part in 'man's search for meaning' amongst celestial bodies and the heavens.

If you combine these two factors; the moon and it's representation of the divine and it's gravitational impact on the earth, with a shift and change in personal energy and feeling, it adds up to a fairly significant (if circumstantial) concept.

While I love the aesthetics of a full moon; the image of her rising above the waves at the beach or high in a cloudy sky makes my heart sing, I don't think of the moon itself as a god or goddess *smile*. The moon reminds me to be aware of my body's cycles of ebb and flow of energy and also reminds me of the divine beings looking out for me and helping to guide my steps.

At the time of the full moon, I am reminded to take the opportunity to fill my soul in/with nature, to breathe deep, to remember and trust my divine team, to be aware of my body's cycles and to honour those feelings by paying attention, to take a review of the month that has passed and to anticipate the fullness and joy of the month to come. Because of it's regularity of cycle, the moon phases act as an alarm clock or calender to remind us of all the things that we can do to assist ourselves and be in complete harmony with our divine selves. The full moon, to me, is a sign of all of these things.

Patience

I hold firm, and truly believe that all things happen with divine timing. That is, at the most perfect time to benefit us the most and that if we only have the patience to let things unfold as they are ordained to, then we have less time in backtracking to find the correct path for us, less "missed opportunities" and a whole lot easier journey in the long run. There is a BIG difference though between knowing this and feeling it.

One of the concepts I still have to remind myself of constantly is to have patience and accept the time frame I am given. It is natural for me to want to move faster towards the goals I have set and to want to be at my desired location "NOW" not next week, next month or anything else that may be planned.

I am sure you realise though, that trying to force things into moving faster to suit our own time scale, or acting prematurely usually only acts to make the journey longer.

At time (all the while counselling myself to patience) when I have known what my next step is but also that it is not time yet to take that step, I have gone ahead with it anyway. These have been the times when I have generally taken myself back ten steps rather than forward the twenty I thought I would go.I don't deem this any sort of "punishment" or the like (angels don't do that) it meant though that I had thrown a few things out of whack and those things had a ripple on effect which meant I was either back where I started or behind that again. *big sigh*

One of the things that helps me to be patient when I feel I am moving forward at a snails pace or not moving at all is to remind myself that I am human and therefor cannot know all the stories of all the people, situations and places that there is to know. Thankfully, I am only given my story and parts of other people's story when I am ask to deliver a message or pass on information. It stands to reason then, that a whole lot of "stuff" is happening all around me that I am unaware of. The divine, on the other hand, ARE aware of everything to do with the people, places and circumstances of everything happening all at once. Given this information, and the knowledge that a decision is best made from a place of knowing rather than a place of ignorance, it makes sense to wait until I am given the instruction (either through messages, gut instinct, hunches or otherwise) before acting.

I won't kid you though, the art of complete patience at all times is still a little illusive to me. I am human, I know where I am going and I want to be there NOW!!!! *smile* Thankfully I have a team behind me who know and loves me despite (or maybe because of) the fact that I am still learning and embracing this concept of patience.

Having the patience to wait and to reflect and to be ready to act without the frenetic "jittering" we as humans do when something exciting is coming, comes down to having complete, unswerving and total trust and faith I think. Where moments of ego are non-existent, where our very 'humaness' is totally eclipsed by our total diviness. I guess what I am saying, is that this is a life long project for me, and I am VERY quick to forgive myself when I throw one of my "I want to do it now" type tantrums, and I restart from where I am to progress forward again. There is no point in wasting time and energy on recriminations for a human response to a frustratingly human situation. Why bother with that? I take some deep breaths, imagine patience as though it is a syrupy honey filling me up, be calm and quiet and ask, "So where to next?" of my team.

Signs and messages from our divine team

A statement from one of the characters in a novel I was reading jumped off the page at me a couple of days ago and  I wrote it down. I found that page again today and felt it was information I needed to share...

"The world around you is screaming at you all the time (with information), but most people can't seem to hear it." David Eddings.

As I sit here I know this for a sad truth and yet it also seems a little hopeful as well.

Every moment of every day the world around us speaks to us, gives us information about the weather, events, circumstances and situations. In each moment our body and brain are unconsciously interpreting signals that we are given through all of the senses and through this interpretation we view the world and know it. For each of us, this interpretation is different and unique, coloured, as it were, by our own personal experiences and perceptions which help us interpret what we feel.

Everyone may see that it is a warm day with a cloudless blue sky, however my interpretation of this moment is that the world, nature and everything in it is as perfect as this moment, that I am surrounded by love, beauty and positivity despite the fact that I apparently sit alone at my computer and type this post.

I believe quite strongly, that it is knowledge of yourself, your baggage, your priorities and you life path that allows you to actively and consciously seek and find understanding and information from the world around you. After all, the world is "screaming" at us wanting to help nurture and guide us, all we have to do is learn her language and trust that our interpretation is correct and for our good.
