A most beautiful light worker friend of mine took the time to remind me of the most amazingly simple, yet absolutely important concept last night. It is that everything that occurs, every transaction that has to happen and all of the events that come and go including friendships and relationships are just moments in time. Time is inexorable...it continues to progress whether we want it to or not, whether we are ready or not; it just progresses forward. This means that those moments, even the ones that seem the most difficult or sorrowful, also continue to move forward and eventually pass.
Naturally we are not stationary just waiting for everything to pass us by. We are actively engaged in directing our own lives. When those moments come upon us that are trying, difficult, hurtful or sorrowful, they become much easier when we remember that they are just a moment in time and they too will pass.
