The question I have contemplated, been asked and thought about often over the last few years is, how do you know when you are on the path of your true life's purpose?
It is all at once simple and a little complex I guess. So, here's what I have come up with.
Sometimes it is easier to define something, by describing what it is not. You know that you are NOT on your path when everything seems difficult; when nothing seems to go right and you can't seem to catch a break. this is a really good indicator that what you are currently doing, doesn't really align with your chosen path (you made the choice before you got here remember, and signed a contract with Archangel Michael *smile* no cooling off period either). Remember that the universe will align everything when you are on your path, your team will smooth the way and give you little nudges here and there to make sure you take the best fork in the road and as a result...life is so good!
You know you are on your path when you LOVE what you do. I am not talking about feeling good going to work, or having a nice time...I'm talking LOVE what you do! An easy "test" for this...ask yourself the question, would you continue to do what you are doing now, if you weren't ever going to be paid for it? If the answer is "yes" it's a pretty good indicator that you are following your path.
If neither of these things resonate for you, try sitting down with some paper and pens, and write out the things you would do if time and money were no object; if there were no barriers to you just launching into what you wanted to do...what would that be? DON"T, whatever you do, THINK about your answer *laugh*, feel your answer, intuit your answer and write down the very first thought that pops into your mind.
Think about your dreams, both night time dreams and day dreams, let your mind float and let your heart speak, and if you haven't found it already, this is how you will find your purpose.
Then...walk your path unafraid for you cannot fail!
